The Mfantsemanhembaa and the women’s groups within the Mfantseman Council in Ashanti region have become aware of the unprovoked and irritating insults hurled at Mfantse women by the so – called Founder and Leader of the Glorious Wave Ministries International, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi.

The Mfantse women groups are very sad and very uncomfortable that a man of God has for unknown reasons decided in a very pathetic situation to look mean on them and other women of other tribes in Ghana and worldwide.

According to Nana Amissah OKye, Mfantsehembaa in Ashanti region, Fante women are very intelligent, brilliant, hard working, dedicated, powerful, supportive and marriage material.
She called on the general public to disregard such uncultured words meted to them by the so-called prophet.

Calling on the so-called man of God to read John 7:m24 and Proverbs 25:24 and rescind his bad traits toward Mfante women.

“We call on you to as a matter of urgency render an unqualified Apology to all who were uncharitable mentioned in your address”.She stressed.

She however, condemned Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi’s incendiary comment against them together with other tribes (Ashanti and Ewe women) across the country.
In a statement issued by her this morning, she described Badu Kobi’s outbursts as demeaning and disgraceful to these three tribes and indeed all Ghanaian women in the country.

The so-called Prophet was seen insulting Ashanti women as being materialistic, Fante Women being fools and Ewe women being dormant. He simply said they are not marriage materials. This has compelled most of the women groups in the country including women group of Mfantes in Ashanti region to send a word of caution to the so-called prophet to officially apologize to all women in the country.

The viral video has attracted a chorus of condemnation from women groups and most women getting more peeved by the day.

“This could create serious cracks in our tribal lines and even destroy marriages,” Mfantsehembaa, Nana Amissah OKye said in a statement copied to broadcastergh.com.

She added: “By this, I call on Prophet Badu Kobi to render an unqualified and urgent apology to all Ghanaian women to help give them a peaceful heart and restore the dignity and respect they rightfully deserve.”
