Mr Joseph Frimpong Bonsu, District Chief Executive for Ahafo Ano South West in the Ashanti Region has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Vice President of the Republic,Alhaji Dr Mahamodu Bawumia on his visit to the Ahafo Ano South West District as part of his campaign tour in the Region.
Dr Mahamodu Bawumia is expected to storm the Ahafo Ano South West constituency tomorrow, Monday 17th ,2023.
According to him,as the District Chief Executive of the area,a tour by the Vice President in his area will help the Vice President to be familiar with issues challenging residents in the area in order to provide solutions to them when he becomes the next President in the Country.
“I’m very honoured to welcome you Mr vice President as the DCE and I’m assuring you that whatever be the purpose of your visit in my district wouldn’t be in vain but a success.”He stated.
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia
VICE PRESIDENT Mahamudu Bawumia, began his campaign tour of the Ashanti Region on 6th July to boost his presidential ambition in Kumasi.
The campaign tour saw the Vice President staying in the Ashanti Region and canvassing for votes from 6th July till Wednesday, July 19, 2023.
During this long stay in the region, Dr. Bawumia is expected to visit all the 47 constituencies to meet and interact with party delegates.
The Vice President, significantly, is using the campaign tour to explain his vision for the NPP, first as flagbearer, and as president, to the delegates of the party.
Per the itinerary of the campaign tour, as the The Punch Newspaper has learnt, the Vice President started the Ashanti regional campaign tour at Asokwa.
He then visited Subin, Manhyia North, Suame and climax the day-one at the Manhyia South Constituency, where a mammoth crowd waited for him.
The day-two would saw the Vice President leaving the Kumasi Metropolis and heading to Atwima Mponua, Atwima Nwabiagya South and other constituencies.
The campaign tour is continuing in the remaining constituencies until the climax on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Offinso North and other nearby areas.
Tomorrow , Monday,17th July,2023 the Vice President is touring the Ahafo Ano South West and South East Districts respectfully where the DCE for Ahafo Ano South West is poised to tour his district with him for a successful stay in the Ashanti Region.
