Former Constituency Chairman for Afigya Kwabre South in the Ashanti Region on the ticket of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah (COKA) has advised political opponents in the Country , especially the NDC to leave Dr Mahamodu Bawumia alone because he’s only a driver’s mate.
He said those criticizing the vice President, for saying he’s not being involved in most of decisions taking under Nana Addo’s government must consider the relationship between a driver and his mate.
He posted on his Facebook wall this morning that,a driver’s mate only helps the driver who has been licensed by the law to drive.
He was of the view that,the mate in his day-to-day activities only collect money, wash the car and when there is a shortage of fuel in the car, the mate will have to run to the fuel station to buy it.
When the driver’s licence or insurance on the car expires, it is the responsibility of the driver to see to its renewal and not the mate.
He said ,if the driver does not see to the renewal of the expired documents and a policeman stops the car, it is the driver who will be arrested and charged and not the mate.
“It is only a bad NDC policeman who will arrest the mate and leave the driver because he sees him as a future good driver.Leave the mate alone! Coka, l care”He maintained .
