The Ashanti Democrats wish to assure all Ghanaians and the good people of Kumasi that all is set for the “ ASANTEMAN DUMSOR VIGIL ” which will be held in Kumasi on Wednesday 17th April,2024 .
We are grateful to Ghanaians from all walks of life for the support we have received so far.
We remain inspired by the solidarity expressed by opposition political parties including the National Democratic Congress ( NDC), Movement for change ( MFC),APC and the CPP, Civil Society groups, academics, workers, professionals, Market women, youth groups, student unions and the general public.
We also acknowledge the efforts of Kumawood Actors and the members of the creative art industry, members of Suame garages, kejetia Market association and the NDC Ashanti pro forum for their immense support.
Demonstrators clad in Red and black outfits will converge at *ANLOGA JUNCTION* at 5pm (evening) before marching through the principal streets of Kumasi with lantern and candles and back to the NDC Ashanti regional office where leadership will be made to give statements.
In the spirit of unity and justice, we, the Ashanti Democrats, humbly appeal to all Ghanaians to join us on Wednesday as we seek answers of might against right. As we come together as a nation, let us stand in solidarity and demand accountability from those in power. Let us not be divided by differences but united in our pursuit of truth and fairness.
