Mr Kenneth Nana Kwame Asamoah, Founder and leader of Action People’s Party (APP) has blamed the ruling New Patriotic Party for the Country’s economic woes.

He is worried about the dominance of decision making by the NPP in the Country’s economic policies and programs.

According to him, the two biggest political parties, that’s NPP and NDC are the cause of the Country’s economic retrogression.

He called for the need for Ghanaians to find someone who has different ideas to help build the citizen’s mental capacities to work but not to talk for only political gains.

Speaking to The Punch Newspaper, he stated that, the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) are always masters of themselves and would not listen to any other person’s views or advice in terms of policies and programs, hence the need for the electorates to chance to the Action People’s Party (APP) to come up with policies and new ideas for the benefit of the nation.

He said, citizens would have the chance and the ability to express their views and come out with fresh ideas to build the nation when they join Action People’s Party because the party is there for the youth and anyone who has the political will .

According to him, both NPP and NDC have been able to polarized the citizenry in political dispensation and would not support the opponent but always kicking against any policy from the opponent whether good or bad, which he said a Country which is in the process atmosphere of growing economically would not survive in such pull him down political atmosphere.

He disclosed that, the Action People’s Party (APP) is to encourage the youth in politics to take political leadership in the country to help change the direction we are always in as a country, which he said is not helping anyone since the first Republic.

He noted that, when given the nod to govern the country, he would ensure that, all Senior High Schools (SHSs) would be day schools to ensure equity in the distributions of teaching and learning logistics for every student to benefit irrespective of the school he/she is being posted.
