A/R NDC women’s organizer warns NPP over politicization of DRIP Machines

Hon. Gloria Huze,the Ashanti regional women organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, has warned the New Patriotic Party to stop politicising the recent distribution of the heavy duty machines meant for development in various districts.

She sound this cautioning when the NDC party went to Nhyinahini on an invitation by the district assembly to inaugurate and officially hand over the district road development machine to the district.

The district assembly according to the NDC women organiser told the press that during the speech presentation,they allowed the NPP parliamentary candidate to make his statement but the assembly deliberately swerved the NDC candidate. When they wanted to find out why they did that move against the NDC parliamentary candidate, they were heavily insulted.

This according to her sparked up a serious give and take argument leading to an injury on one of the ladies who were with them.

Hon.Gloria Huze, throwing more light on why the heated argument started which took the police at Nhyinahini to calm the situation down told newsmen that, during their visit to the said constituency event hough they went on an invitation , they also found out that the machine has been decorated with NPP posters and in an attempt to advice the NPP to remove the posters from the machine, they NPP party members started growing anger by raining insults on them.

This according to her cause them to also pasted NDC posters on the said machine to promote their candidate.

The heavy duty machine procured by government aimed at bolstering insfrastracture development and enhancing road maintenance capability nationwide and shouldn’t be politicised.
