The 2024 flagbearer of the National National Democratic Congress together with the NDC parliamentary candidate for Amenfi Central,Madam Joana Gyan Cudjoe have sharply criticized the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) government for its failure to improve the country’s deteriorating road network, particularly in the Amenfi Central Constituency in the Western Region.
They accused the government of neglect and unfulfilled promises, claiming the NPP has not delivered on its commitments to the area in it eight years administration.
Speaking to NDC supporters at Wassa Agona Amenfi during the official launch of Madam Joana Gyan Cudjoe’s 2024 campaign ,His Excellency John Dramani Mahama highlighted the NDC’s track record in infrastructure, particularly road construction.
He argued that only the NDC has shown the capacity to address the Country’s pressing need for substantial infrastructure development, which he said the NPP has overlooked.
Former President John Mahama urged the community to support the NDC in the upcoming December elections, cautioning against voting solely based on party affiliation.
He encouraged voters to prioritize the development agenda that the NDC has consistently championed, underscoring their belief that the NDC’s leadership is best positioned to meet the region’s infrastructure needs.
He however appealed to the people of Amenfi Central to vote massively for madam Joana Gyan Cudjoe to become the next MP for the area,come December 7,this he believes will bring total transformation to the area.
He described Madam Joana Gyan Cudjoe as “Wassa Yaa Asantewaa” because of her bravity and the can do spirit.
‘Vote for someone who builds roads if that’s what you need.
“The NDC is the only political party that builds roads as you all know. There’s none other but the NDC with President Mahama that build hospitals, good roads,portable drinking water,quality education and good health facilities and you can attest to that fact.”He asserted.
