Dr. Frank Amoakohene, the Ashanti Regional Minister, had the honor of receiving Professor Ohene Adjei, Ghana’s newly appointed Ambassador to Germany, at the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council.
The meeting took place ahead of Ambassador Ohene Adjei’s official departure to assume his post in Germany.
Professor Ohene Adjei, a renowned former CEO of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH), has served the Ashanti Region with dedication and wisdom. As a respected member of the Regional Council of Elders, he has made significant contributions to the region.
During the meeting, Dr. Amoakohene and Ambassador Ohene Adjei discussed strategic investment opportunities within the Ashanti Region.
They also emphasized the importance of nurturing and mentoring the next generation of Ghanaian diplomats, leveraging the platform provided by H.E. President John Dramani Mahama for international service.
The Ashanti Regional Minister expressed confidence that Ambassador Ohene Adjei would represent Ghana with excellence and continue to open doors that would benefit both the region and the nation at large.
Dr. Amoakohene wished Ambassador Ohene Adjei success and God’s guidance in his important diplomatic mission.
The meeting between Dr. Amoakohene and Ambassador Ohene Adjei demonstrated the strong working relationship between the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council and the diplomatic community.
As Ambassador Ohene Adjei embarks on his new role, the Ashanti Region looks forward to benefiting from his expertise and diplomatic efforts.
