The Member of Parliament for Nsuta Kwamang Beposo, Hon. Adelaide Ntim, has donated 20 pieces of furniture worth GHC 40,000 to the Ashanti Regional Directorate of the National Service Authority (NSA).

This generous donation aims to support the Directorate during the registration exercise for prospective National Service personnel.

The furniture was presented by Mr. Abel Anokye on behalf of the MP, in response to an appeal from the Regional Director of the Secretariat. The MP’s gesture is intended to make the registration exercise more convenient for the personnel.

The Ashanti Regional Director of the Directorate, Mr. Emmanuel Fynn, expressed his profound gratitude to the MP for the kind gesture. He commended the MP’s initiative and urged individuals, corporate bodies, and philanthropists to emulate her shining example.

Mr. Fynn also called on Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to support the Directorate in various ways to make work easier for management and staff.

Mr. Fynn noted that the Directorate is working to improve the effectiveness of the office, which currently faces challenges such as inadequate facilities.

He mentioned that prospective personnel often have to line up in the scorching sun during registration processes, but the Directorate has provided canopies to serve as shelter. The MP’s donation is expected to further enhance the working conditions of the Directorate .
