On Thursday, 11th September 2025, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ahafo Ano South West District Assembly, Hon. Abubakar Sedik, inspected works on the ongoing construction of a multipurpose park at Mankranso.
The project forms part of the DCE’s broader efforts to promote sports development and increase youth participation in sports across the district. According to Hon. Sedik, Mankranso is the first community to benefit from this initiative, with plans to extend similar facilities to other parts of the district.

He assured residents that plans are in place to ensure effective management and maintenance of the facility for the benefit of all.
