According to ECG, the exercise forms part of ongoing efforts to construct express power lines from Boadi to Kaase to enhance service delivery and network reliability.

The scheduled maintenance will take place on Monday, June 15, Wednesday, June 17, and Friday, June 19, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on each day.

Communities expected to be affected include Adagya, Esereso, Zoomlion Factory, Feyiase, Aputuogya, Nkwanta, Aboatem, Oyeko, Adunku, Kuwait, Naachia, Sawuah and surrounding areas, Aprabon, Afanko, Atonsu Bokuro, Monaco, IGP and nearby communities.

ECG explained that the temporary outage is necessary to facilitate the maintenance works and ensure improved electricity distribution in the area.

The company has expressed regret for the inconvenience the exercise may cause and appealed to residents and businesses in the affected communities to make the necessary arrangements ahead of the scheduled outages.
