The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ahafo Ano South West District, Hon. Abubakar Sedik has emphasized the importance of motivation in driving productivity and development in the workplace.
Speaking at a training workshop organized by the Institute of Local Government for honorable Assembly members and Heads of departments of the Ahafo Ano South West District Assembly on corporate governance and District Performance Assessment Tool (DPAT), Hon. Sedik noted that when individuals are encouraged and given the right environment, they are capable of achieving excellence.
“No worker is lazy, motivation brings the best out of them,” he stressed.
The DCE urged supervisors, employers, and community leaders to create systems that inspire workers rather than discourage them. According to him, when people feel valued and supported, their contributions become more impactful, ultimately leading to collective growth.
Hon. Sedik further highlighted the need for both public and private sector organizations to adopt measures that promote teamwork, accountability, and recognition of effort. He explained that such practices not only improve efficiency but also foster harmony and commitment within institutions.
He assured workers in the district of his continuous support and encouraged them to see themselves as partners in the development agenda of Ahafo Ano South West.
