The Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially released guidelines regarding the placement of students for the 2025 academic year.
In a letter dated September 17, 2025, signed by Munawaru Issahaque (PhD), Acting Deputy Director-General (Q&A) for the Acting Director-General, the GES notified all Regional Directors of the results from the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS).
According to the announcement, Regional and District Directors are required to ensure compliance with the placement list generated by the CSSPS.
The GES emphasized that any infractions, including unauthorized admissions, will attract necessary administrative sanctions. Directors are tasked with monitoring and providing supervisory support during the admission period to ensure a transparent and successful admission process.
The GES expressed appreciation for cooperation in ensuring adherence to the guidelines for a smooth admission process for the 2025 academic year. Admissions outside the official placement list without prior approval are discouraged.
Admissions are scheduled to follow the placement list from October 18, 2025, with the administration conducted smoothly and in accordance with regulations.
