Turntable & Tenable, a project dedicated to supporting underprivileged communities, has announced a book drive aimed at providing essential learning materials to students of Miaso D/A Basic School in the Fanteakwa North District, Eastern Region, Ghana.
The initiative, titled “‘Book’ A Bright Future For Miaso D/A Basic School children,” seeks to mobilize donations of books and other learning materials for the school.
According to Kofi Yeboah, Founder of Turntable & Tenable and a journalist, communication lecturer, and human rights advocate, the project aligns with the organization’s mission to “turn the table” for the underprivileged while promoting and protecting their rights.
Last year, Turntable & Tenable successfully donated to the Accra Rehabilitation Centre, and this year’s focus is on Miaso D/A Basic School.
The book drive specifically requests donations of textbooks for Basic 4-6 (Upper Primary) and Basic 7-9 (Junior High School), including subjects such as English Language, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Computing, and Ghanaian Language. Additionally, donations of exercise books, storybooks, pens, pencils, erasers, and sharpeners are welcomed.
Donations can be made via MoMo to 024 427 5167, with “MIASO BASIC SCHOOL” as the reference. All contributions must be received by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, for handover on October 23, 2025. For further information on how to contribute, contact Shine at 055 520 7671.
“Your donation may be small on face value but it will put a big smile on the faces of schoolchildren at Miaso D/A Basic School,” said Kofi Yeboah. “‘Book’ a bright future for the schoolchildren. Send your donation now!”
Turntable & Tenable aims to make a meaningful impact on the education of Miaso D/A Basic School students through this initiative.
