Ghana’s drive to deepen entrepreneurship, strengthen small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs), and accelerate inclusive economic growth is set to receive another major boost as the Kwahu Business Forum 2026 takes place from April 3 to April 5, 2026, at the Kwahu Convention Centre.
The Forum, held under the leadership of the Chief of Staff, Hon. Julius Debrah, has grown into a respected national economic platform that convenes business owners, industrialists, start-ups, investors, policymakers and development partners from across the country and beyond.
It is designed to create a practical space for dialogue, collaboration and investment aimed at unlocking the full potential of Ghana’s private sector, particularly SMEs, which remain the backbone of the national economy.
According to organizers, the 2026 edition will build on the successes of previous forums by focusing on practical solutions to business growth challenges, while aligning enterprise development with Ghana’s broader economic transformation agenda.
The three-day event is expected to attract hundreds of participants from diverse sectors including agribusiness, manufacturing, technology, finance, tourism, creative arts and the green economy.
The Kwahu Business Forum has become synonymous with meaningful engagement between the public and private sectors, offering participants the opportunity to interact directly with policymakers and regulators on issues affecting business operations. Through panel discussions, keynote addresses and interactive sessions, the forum seeks to identify policy bottlenecks and propose actionable reforms to improve the business environment.
A key objective of the 2026 forum is to promote inclusive economic development by ensuring that micro, small and medium enterprises are not left behind in Ghana’s growth story. Organizers say special attention will be given to youth-led and women-led businesses, start-ups, and enterprises operating in underserved communities. Participants will also be exposed to financing opportunities, business advisory services and strategic partnerships.
The choice of Kwahu as host continues to reflect the area’s long-standing reputation as a hub of entrepreneurship and commerce in Ghana.
Hosting the forum at the Kwahu Convention Centre is expected to further position the enclave as a centre for business tourism, conferences and investment-driven events, while also contributing to local economic activity during the period.
Networking remains one of the strongest pillars of the Kwahu Business Forum.
The 2026 edition will provide structured and informal networking sessions that allow entrepreneurs to share ideas, showcase innovations, explore joint ventures and connect with potential investors and development partners. Exhibition booths are also expected to feature products and services from Ghanaian businesses, offering visibility and market exposure.
Under the leadership of Chief of Staff Julius Debrah, the forum continues to underscore government’s commitment to private sector-led growth as a catalyst for job creation and sustainable development.
Stakeholders believe the event will once again serve as a catalyst for new investments, policy insights and collaborative initiatives that can translate into tangible economic outcomes.
As Ghana navigates a rapidly changing global and regional economic landscape, the Kwahu Business Forum 2026 is expected to play a critical role in shaping conversations around resilience, innovation and competitiveness.
With its blend of policy dialogue, business networking and investment promotion, the forum is poised to remain a cornerstone event on Ghana’s economic calendar.
The April 3–5, 2026 gathering at the Kwahu Convention Centre is therefore anticipated to be not just a meeting of minds, but a strategic platform for charting new pathways for enterprise growth and national development.
