The visit, scheduled for Saturday, 24th January 2026, will take place at the Manso–Amenfi Durbar Centre, with activities expected to commence at 11:00 a.m. prompt.

The tour forms part of the NDC’s broader nationwide engagement with grassroots supporters following recent political milestones, aimed at strengthening party unity and consolidating its relationship with the electorate.

Hon. Asiedu Nketiah will be accompanied by key constituency and district leaders, including the Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, and the District Chief Executive, Hon. Peter Amponsah.

Their joint presence is expected to signal strong collaboration between party leadership, parliamentary representation, and local governance in advancing the development agenda of the constituency.

According to party sources, the Thank You Tour is designed to express heartfelt gratitude to the chiefs, opinion leaders, party faithful, and the general populace of Amenfi Central for their steadfast support of the NDC.

The constituency has long been regarded as a stronghold of the party, and leadership believes it is important to directly acknowledge the sacrifices and commitment of the people.

Beyond appreciation, the visit is also expected to serve as a platform for reaffirming the NDC’s commitment to inclusive development, unity, and progress. Addressing supporters at the durbar, the National Chairman is anticipated to highlight the party’s vision for grassroots empowerment, socio-economic transformation, and responsive governance, while urging continued solidarity and active participation in the party’s activities.
Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, who has been at the forefront of parliamentary advocacy and development initiatives in Amenfi Central, is also expected to brief constituents on ongoing and planned interventions aimed at improving infrastructure, social services, and livelihoods across the constituency. Her role, party insiders say, exemplifies the NDC’s philosophy of leadership rooted in service and accountability.

The District Chief Executive, Hon. Peter Amponsah, will similarly outline the district’s development priorities and emphasize the importance of collaboration between local government authorities, traditional leaders, and citizens to accelerate progress.

Residents and party supporters across Amenfi Central have welcomed news of the visit with enthusiasm, viewing it as a mark of recognition and respect from the highest levels of party leadership.

Many believe the tour will further energize the party’s base and strengthen bonds between the leadership and grassroots supporters.
