Speaking during the tour, Hon. Abubakar Sedik expressed satisfaction with the pace of work across most of the project sites. He commended the contractors for their efforts so far and assured them of the Assembly’s readiness to honour payment obligations promptly upon successful completion of their respective projects.

He emphasised the Assembly’s commitment to ensuring that all projects are completed on time and meet the required standards to improve the living conditions of residents.

The District Works Engineer, Beatrice Oteng in her remarks, also expressed her satisfaction with the quality of work executed by the contractors. However, she noted that a few minor defects had been identified and indicated that she had directed the contractors to make the necessary corrections to ensure full compliance with project specifications.

The inspection forms part of the Assembly’s broader strategy to strengthen supervision, ensure value for money, and accelerate development across the Ahafo Ano South West District.
