Dr. Prince Nelson Mortoti, Chief Executive Officer of PIWAK Natural Health, producers of the 3P Garlic Mixture, has cautioned the public against neglecting persistent and severe headaches, warning that they could lead to serious health complications if not properly addressed.

According to him, headaches are often dismissed as minor health conditions, yet recurrent or chronic headaches may be signs of underlying medical problems that require immediate medical attention.

Speaking during a health education engagement, Dr. Mortoti explained that severe headaches could be linked to stress, hypertension, migraines, dehydration, sinus infections, lack of sleep, or other neurological disorders.

He noted that many individuals depend solely on painkillers for temporary relief without seeking professional diagnosis to identify the root cause of their condition.

“Persistent headaches can affect concentration, reduce productivity, interfere with sleep, and negatively impact emotional and mental wellbeing. In some cases, they may even indicate life-threatening conditions,” he stated.

Dr. Mortoti further revealed that untreated chronic headaches could result in fatigue, anxiety, mood instability, dizziness, and difficulties in performing daily activities.

He stressed that headaches accompanied by symptoms such as blurred vision, vomiting, numbness, confusion, or speech difficulties should be treated as medical emergencies.

The health practitioner therefore advised the public to prioritize regular medical checkups and adopt healthy lifestyles, including adequate hydration, balanced nutrition, regular exercise, proper rest, and stress management.

Dr. Mortoti reaffirmed the commitment of PIWAK Natural Health to promoting preventive healthcare and natural wellness through public education and herbal support products such as 3P Garlic Mixture.

He urged Ghanaians to avoid self-medication and seek early medical intervention whenever headaches become persistent or unusually severe.
