Ahafo Ano South West DCE Inspects Ongoing Asuokor Road Rehabilitation Project

The District Chief Executive for Ahafo Ano South West District, Hon. Abubakar Sedik, has inspected ongoing rehabilitation works on the Asuokor road, reaffirming the Assembly’s commitment to improving road infrastructure and enhancing economic development within the district.

The inspection took place on Thursday, May 14, 2026, where the DCE expressed satisfaction with the progress of work and commended the engineers and contractors for their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to quality delivery.
According to Hon. Sedik, the completion of the road project will significantly improve transportation in Asuokor and adjoining communities by easing the movement of people, goods, and services while boosting commercial activities in the area.

He stressed the importance of maintaining high construction standards and urged the engineers to ensure timely completion of the project without compromising quality.

The DCE further assured residents that the District Assembly would continue to monitor the project closely to guarantee its successful execution and long-term benefits to the people.

Hon. Sedik reiterated that improving road infrastructure remains one of the Assembly’s top development priorities, noting that good roads are essential for economic growth and improving living conditions across the district.

Also present during the inspection was the Presiding Member of the Assembly, Hon. Paul Kwesi Amegboe.
