The assembly member for Ahemfi electoral area, a suburb of nsawkaw in the Tain district of Bono region , Hon. Ahmed Ibrahim (Afari-Gyan) has expressed worry on lack of national policy implementation which could help the development of the country.
According to him, there are many projects that need attention and focus to make the nation develop but lack of national policy has thwarted the progress of the nation.
He said for the lack of national policy alot of developmental projects have left to rot by successive government which he said is a hindrance to national development.
He said, any time there is change of government ongoing projects are left to rot by the government of the day since any political party has her own ideas and policies.
Speaking with Appiah Kubi on Tain FM ‘Anɔpa Nkɔmmɔ’, the assemblymember indicated that, since time in memorial, some projects like school buildings, hospitals, roads ,among others have been left to rot and is not helping Ghana as a country.
He added that some roads, electricity extensions and water projects need completion in their area but these projects have been left to rot because of partisan politice and greediness.
