The National Organizer of United Progressive Party (UPP),Saahene Kwaku Stephen has called on  President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo to declare his stand on the legalization of LGBTQ+ right in Ghana.

According to him, late President John Evans Atta Mills was boldly enough and stated that”It will NOT be under his presidency that same-sex marriage will be legalized in Ghana”.

He was of the view that,he doesn’t see reasons why Nana Addo has kept quiet of the passing of this LGBTQ+ right in the country.

Saahene who doubles as 2020 parliamentary Candidate at Bantama constituency on the ticket of  United Progressive Party don’t see any sense about the delay in our president stand on the legalization of the gay right.

He asked if  Nana Addo doesn’t know  homosexuality remained a criminal offence in Ghana.?

He revealed that ,Nana Addo is the president of Ghana so he should be bold enough and say no to gay right in the country.

His decision as the president will seize all nonsense and alot of pressure from the gay people in the country.
