Addressing supporters at the party’s final rally held at Zurak Park in Madina on Thursday, December 5, Mahama laid out a heartfelt vision for a brighter future, urging citizens to vote massively for the NDC to restore hope, rebuild the economy, and reset the nation.

The rally, which marked the culmination of months of campaigning, was charged with energy as thousands gathered to show their support for Mahama’s bid to reclaim the presidency.

In his address, Mahama spoke directly to the struggles and frustrations of ordinary Ghanaians, painting a grim picture of the challenges facing the nation under the current administration.

He described a country grappling with economic hardship, rising insecurity, and a loss of faith in governance.

Mahama stressed that Saturday’s election represents more than just a routine exercise of democratic choice but it is also a pivotal moment in Ghana’s history to make the right choice.

“My beloved Ghanaians, the time to replace fear with hope is now. The time to replace cynicism and disillusion with courage and determination is now. The time to replace poverty and insecurity with solid development and safety for all is now. The time to restore the economic fortunes of Ghana is now, and the time to reset our country is now.

“Saturday’s election is not just another election but a defining moment for our nation. It is a choice between the Ghana we have today and the Ghana we want to have together. A Ghana of opportunities, prosperity, and justice for all.”
