A candidate for the Chairmanship position of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Asokwa Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Ade Napoleon, has pledged to provide dedicated and people-centred leadership anchored on the principles of “Service and Humanity.”

Ade Napoleon, who is seeking the mandate of delegates to lead the constituency, said his decision to contest was driven by a desire to strengthen the party at the grassroots and build a more united, disciplined and effective constituency structure.

According to him, the NDC requires leadership that is accessible to party members, responsive to their concerns and committed to translating the party’s ideals into practical service.

He said the chairmanship position should not merely be about occupying an office but should come with the responsibility of serving party members, supporting the grassroots and working collectively towards the advancement of the party.

Ade Napoleon said his leadership would place the welfare and development of the grassroots at the centre of the constituency’s activities.
He pledged to promote stronger engagement between the constituency executives, branch executives, polling station officials, party faithful and other stakeholders to ensure that concerns from the grassroots receive the necessary attention.
He said a strong constituency structure could only be achieved when party members felt valued, respected and actively involved in the affairs of the party.
“Service and Humanity,” he said, would therefore serve as the guiding philosophy of his leadership, with emphasis on humility, commitment, inclusiveness and accountability.
Building a united constituency
The candidate also stressed the need for unity among party members, saying internal cohesion remained essential to the NDC’s ability to organise effectively and achieve its political objectives.
He called on all members and supporters to put the collective interest of the party above individual considerations and work together to strengthen the constituency.
He said the strength of the NDC depended largely on the commitment of its members at the branch and polling station levels, and therefore promised to give the grassroots the attention they deserved.
Leadership through action
Mr Napoleon further positioned his candidature as one centred on practical action rather than rhetoric.
He said, if given the opportunity to serve as Chairman, he would work with the constituency executives and other stakeholders to improve party organisation, strengthen communication and encourage greater participation in party activities.

He also called for greater support for party members and volunteers who continue to dedicate their time and resources to the work of the NDC.

According to him, effective leadership must be measured by its impact on the people and the ability to inspire confidence among members.

As the contest gathers momentum, Ade Napoleon has appealed to delegates of the Asokwa Constituency to support his candidature and entrust him with the responsibility of leading the constituency.

He said his commitment was to serve all members without discrimination and to work towards creating a constituency where every member would have a sense of belonging.
He urged delegates to consider his vision and record of commitment when making their choice.

Mr Napoleon said he was ready to work with everyone, irrespective of their differences, to build a stronger and more formidable NDC structure in Asokwa.

He expressed confidence that with unity, discipline and dedicated service, the constituency could strengthen its organisational base and contribute significantly to the broader objectives of the NDC.

With “Service and Humanity” as his rallying call, Ade Napoleon is asking delegates of the Asokwa Constituency NDC to give him their mandate as Chairman.

He said his candidature represents a commitment to serve, unite and strengthen the party from the grassroots, and appealed to delegates to vote for a leadership focused on people and practical results.
