Hon Williams Owuraku Aidoo,
Deputy Minister of Energy and Member of Parliament for Afigya Kwabere South Constituency in the Ashanti region has commended the Northern Quarries Association under a thematic unit of Afigya Kwabere South District Quarries Fund for their support towards the nation development in areas of education, security and health to augment the government effort.
He made this known during a sod cutting ceremony by Northern Quarries Association to construct 20 seater w.c. toilet and bathroom for Aduman Shs.
Hon Owuraku Aidoo thanked the Northern Quarries Association for their support and urged other corporate institutions to emulate that gesture.
He however praised the Northern Quarries Association for their support.
Speaking to Mr Adu-Tutu Gyamfi ,Northern Quarries Association Chairman,on the rationale for supporting the Aduman shs and rationale for development he said ,it was their social cooperate responsibility to give back to the communities they work in.
On his part,the District Chief Executive for the area,Hon Adu- Poku Christian ( APC) thanked the Northern Quarries Association for help saying it would go a long way efficiently and effectiveness to support government aspirations of helping students through free Shs up to Tertiary institutions .
He further praised the Afigya Kwabere South District Quarries Fund for their help as it would go a long way to help the District at large as well as other Indeginous Communities .
He also advised the school authorities to ensure maintenance culture to keep the facilities long.
