A level 300 Maths student of the Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED, Prosper Owusu a.k.a Arrested, is reported to have sustained several injuries during an end of semester traditional Procession at their main Kumasi Campus.
According to some students who witnessed the incident last friday night, Prosper Owusu a.k.a Arrested, is a leading member of the Opoku Ware II hall of the Akenteng Appiah Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development(AAMUSTED), serving in the capacity as Fetish Priest to the traditional council of the same hall. Therefore, as costum demands, all the necessary traditional rites by the traditional council took effect on last friday night to be lasted over the weekend.
However, after a successful procession dubbed; “Kotipo Procession ” across the school campus where male students wore short panties with and without shirts plus red armbands, the Friday’s session of the event came to an abrupt end at the forecourt of the Opoku Ware II hall where, he , Prosper Owusu(The Fetish Priest) during an acrobatic performance in a blazing fire prepared by themselves using combustible materials such as sawdust and turpentine, was set on fire, contrary to what they all expected.
This caused him to sustain multiple injuries over his body after being rushed to the emergency Department of the Komfo Anokye Teachings hospital.
In a memorandum issued by the Students’ Representative Council(SRC) in the early hours of Saturday, Prosper Owusu is confirmed to be currently receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching hospital as all students are being directed to fervently remember him in their prayers.
