Acting national chairman of United Progressive Party, Kenneth Nana Kwame Asamoah has made it clear that Mr.Akwasi Addae Odike ,former flagbearer of the party is just an advertiser of the UPP and has no room to operate as an executive member of the party henceforth.
According to him,Odike has been parading himself as the National chairman, flagbearer, secretary, treasurer of the party wherever he went but Nana Kwame Asamoah announced that the move by Odike does not happen in any serious political party.
Nana Kwame Asamoah told journalists at a press conference today that Odike has no moral right to represent UPP in any function,not even in the media fraternity and at any public discussion.
He said,Odike can only be part of the party executives after the party had gone for Congress and has been confirmed by executive members of the party and delegates but for now he is just a floor member.
This was a response to claims by Odike that the acting chairman of the party is an imposter
