Stephen Kwaku Saahene, National Organizer of the United Progressive Party has advised the speaker of parliament,Alban Bagbin to seek for the arrest of an Impersonator of Dome-Kwabenya member of parliament,Adwoa Sarfo.
Though the Minority in Parliament says it is investigating a suspected case of impersonation of the Member of Parliament (MP) of Dome Kwabenya, Sarah Adwoa Safo when the 2022 Budget Statement and Economic Policy of the government was approved.
According to Saahene after reviewing footage of the sitting it was becoming apparent that there may have been a case of impersonation of the Dome Kwabenya MP.
“Following pictures and videos it is becoming quite apparent to that there may be a case of impersonation,so the speaker must investigate and cause the arrest of the Impersonator.
He said,the lady who was presented as Adwoa Safo was not her so the speaker must act now.
He was of the view that the parliament house is a serious house and need not to be taken for granted.
