The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, had the honor of receiving the Israeli Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Roy Gilad, at the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council in Kumasi.
During their discussions, both parties focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation between Israel and the Ashanti Region.

sister city partnerships, knowledge exchange, and development collaboration across key sectors.
Dr. Amoakohene reaffirmed the region’s commitment to building meaningful international relationships that drive innovation, investment, and shared growth.
This move aligns with Dr. Amoakohene’s priorities for the Ashanti Region, which include tackling youth unemployment, security concerns, sanitation, illegal mining, and infrastructure deficits.
