The Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Dr. Frank Amoakohene,has called for collaboration and peace in Ghana’s development.
Speaking at the Unity Festival in Sunyani, where he joined the Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Akwaboah, and Sunyani East MP, Hon. Seid Mubarak, he said the can only be development when there’s peace.
The festival brought together chiefs, academics, and stakeholders to discuss peace, development, and education, highlighting the importance of inter-regional collaboration and promoting local culture.
At the event,Dr. Amoakohene emphasized the need for regions to work together to drive development and promote peace.
He highlighted the importance of showcasing local culture to position regions as attractive investment hubs.
The minister stressed the need to integrate education with industry to equip citizens with relevant skills and emphasized the importance of embedding cultural heritage in development agendas to build a more united, educated, and prosperous Ghana.
