Dr. Frank Amoakohene, the Ashanti Regional Minister, has made a passionate appeal to medical officers and staff at the Kumawu Government Hospital to lend their expertise in operationalizing the newly commissioned Drobonso hospital.

This move comes after the Minister’s working visit to the Drobonso hospital, where he discovered that despite being furnished with state-of-the-art medical facilities, the hospital remains non-operational due to a lack of staff.

The Drobonso hospital was hastily commissioned by the NPP government ahead of the 2024 elections, but ironically, no staff were recruited to man the facility.

Dr. Amoakohene’s prompt intervention aims to prevent the hospital from falling into disrepair.

By engaging the staff at Kumawu, which serves as a parent district, the Minister hopes to tap into their expertise and ensure the Drobonso hospital becomes fully operational.

This collaborative approach demonstrates the Minister’s commitment to delivering quality healthcare services to the people of Drobonso and it surrounding areas.
