Ashanti Regional Minister Swears In 4 New MMDCEs

The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, had the honor of swearing in four out of six newly approved Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) in the Ashanti Region yesterday.

This significant event marks a crucial step towards development and progress in the region.

During the swearing-in ceremony, Dr. Amoakohene urged the new MMDCEs to serve with the nation at heart and the President in mind, as true representatives of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama and the aspirations of the people. He emphasized the importance of their role in driving development and improving the lives of the people in their respective districts.

To ensure that the new MMDCEs are well-equipped to tackle the challenges ahead, Dr. Amoakohene announced plans to roll out a series of workshops and training sessions. These capacity-building initiatives will provide the MMDCEs with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively lead their districts and contribute to the region’s development.

Once the outstanding nominations are approved, a grand inaugural session will be held to formally induct all the new MMDCEs. This event will provide an opportunity for the MMDCEs to come together and receive a comprehensive briefing on their roles and responsibilities.

Dr. Amoakohene expressed his gratitude to His Excellency John Dramani Mahama for the opportunity to serve and to the Assembly Members and Members of Parliament for their continued support. He emphasized that together, they can build a stronger Ashanti Region, highlighting the importance of collaboration and teamwork in achieving development goals.
