Breaking News: Over 700 KTI Students Sacked For Failing To Attend Assembly

The Punch Newspaper can say on record that authorities of Kumasi Technical Institute (KTI)in the Ashanti Region have sacked over seven hundred (700)students for failing to attend Assembly today.

Speaking to some of the students this afternoon they confirmed that authorities have asked them to go home with their bags and chop box and to return no more.

According to the students ,they only missed roll call and has resulted to their total dismissal.

The disappointed students however called on the Education Minister and Asantehene to as a matter of urgency respond to their cry.

When the Punch Newspaper visited the office of the School’s Principal to ascertain why  the students were dismissed it was established that Authorities embarked on such action to ensure discipline in the School.

Mr Gabriel Osei , Principal of the School though not permitted to engage the media managed to say that authorities of the School only acted upon the school’s constitution of which every student has a copy.
