Reports from broadcastergh.com indicate that former Minister of Environment, Science, Technology, and Innovation, Professor Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng, is currently under investigation by the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP).
The renowned heart surgeon was invited by the Office several weeks ago to answer questions regarding corruption and corruption-related activities, specifically concerning his report on the dissolved Inter-Ministerial Committee on Illegal Mining (IMCIM).
Following his invitation, Professor Frimpong-Boateng was granted bail in the amount of GH¢2 million after his alleged arrest. The investigation is ongoing, and further details will be provided as they become available.
