A disqualified presidential aspirant of the United Front Party (UFP),Dr.Nana Agyenim Boateng (Gyataba) has placed interlocutory injunction on the upcoming 2020 presidential and parliamentary elections.
Interlocutory injunction ,is an official order by a court of law to do or not to do something that is made during a trialor case that is being discussed in a court of law and that lasts until the trial, etc. is ended.
Dr.Nana Agyenim Boateng made the move together with his lawyers at the Accra commercial Court, ministries in Accra today.
Hearing of the case is scheduled on 2nd November,2020.
The presidential aspirant, filed a writ in court seeking to place an injunction on the 2020 general election.
He prays the court to order the electoral commission to stop conducting the elections until all the right things which needed to be done is done.
Gyataba who is contesting as the UFP 2020 flagbearer was disqualified for not meeting the requirement by the electoral commission, according to the electoral commission.
