Authorities of Concerned Youth Of Asante(CYA), a pressure group affiliated to  the Manhyia Palace has descended heavily on the ruling New Patriotic Party  for politicizing a comment made by the overlord of Asante, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the  UN High – Level Forum on the culture of peace at the headquarters in New York.    The Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II revealed during the forum that he had to intervene to convince ex-President Mahama to concede defeat in the 2016 Presidential election.  This comment he made at the forum has brought alot of controversies and verbal attacks on the side of the two big political parties in the country.  In a statement copied to broadcastergh.com this morning, Dr. Nana Agyenim Boateng, leader of the group however lambasted the ruling New Patriotic Party members for politicizing the issue.  Adding that, the NPP is doing politics with Otumfoɔ’s Persuasive Comment just to shift attention on the good things that Otumfuo spoke about at the forum on that day.    According to him, instead of the ruling New Patriotic Party to focus and propagate the wise and good topics that Otumfuo spoke about at the forum, they are rather inciting him against the former president of the Republic, Mr. John Dramani Mahama.    He said, the NPP with Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has never liked and respected the Manhyia Palace.    He revealed that, in 2012 the NPP accused Otumfuo and the Manhyia Palace for paying bribe to Supreme Court Judge Justice Atuguba for John Dramani Mahama to become president during the 2012 election petition.  Stressing that, even if Otumfuo had made such a comment, is not the business of the NPP government to propagate it.    Gyataba, affectionately called, however rubbished the NPP and told them to go fix the broken economy and stop disgracing Manhyia Palace.  “Otumfuo only spoke as a wise King and if the wise speaks its the fool who propagates it” He concluded Source:broadcastergh.com/Ayisah Foster
