Major Retired Dr Joseph Kuyon,Director General of NADMO , has shed light on the recent donation of rice and cooking oil to the Adum-PZ fire victims.
According to Major Kuyon , the relief items were not intended for construction purposes, but rather to cushion the affected individuals and families who rely heavily on their daily sales .
The devastating fire outbreak had severe implications on the victims’ livelihoods, prompting the Interior Minister to provide the necessary support.
Major Kuyon emphasized that NADMO is deeply concerned about the welfare of the fire victims, hence the donation.
However, Major Kuyon appealed to the victims to exercise restraint, as the president is committed to their welfare.
He encouraged them to be patient and cooperative, ensuring that the support provided is utilized effectively.
