The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Afigya Kwabre South, Hon Christian Adu Poku, has described majority of supporters of opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) as liars.
According to him, NDC is the only political party in Ghana which is alligned to lies.
Hon Adu Poku popularly known as Dr APC spelt these out during the launch of Suame Constituency NPP Welfare Scheme at Kronum in Kumasi.
He disclosed that few months after Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo was sworn in to office, NDC fabricated the slogan ” yennyaa hweee” meaning “we haven’t gotten anything”.
According to him, the government has introduced Free Senior High school Policy (FSHS) to the benefit of all Ghanaians.
Parents, he said, have benefited since the amount payable as fees for three years of their wards’ second cycle education can be used for other things.
According to him, under the same policy, thousands of graduates who were jobless under Mahama administration have been provided with jobs .
He disclosed that most Ghanaians especially the youth have got employment under the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) as well as afforestation programme.
He expressed regret that some members of the ruling party have joined to sing same slogan with NDC adding they should not be liars as NDC.
Hon Adu Poku described the move to institute a welfare scheme for the party as laudable and prayed for it’s sustenance.
