EC limited registration: Old Tafo MP hopeful satisfied with process

With two days left to end the ongoing limited voters registration exercise by the Electoral Commission (EC), Dr Carol Serwaa Donkor, a Member of Parliament hopeful for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Old Tafo Constituency of the Ashanti Region is satisfied with the process so far.

She has, therefore, lauded EC officials for their dedication and hardwork in making sure that all eligible voters who are yet to register are registered without hindrance and frustration.

Speaking to the media when she visited the Old Tafo office of the Electoral Commission, sited at the regional Headquarters of the EC in Kumasi, she expressed excitement about the workforce of EC as far as the exercise is concerned.

The exercise, she said, will go along way to enable registrants to acquire their voters’ ID cards which will aid them to exercise their franchise in the 2024 general elections.

Dr Carol who doubles as Coordinator for the National Alternative Employment And Livelihood Programme (NAELP) was
satisfied with the level of comportment of all the political parties.
