The Member of Parliament for Ejura Sekyeredumase, Hon. Mohammed Bawa Braimah, has held discussions with the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, on key development priorities aimed at accelerating socio-economic growth in the constituency.
The meeting, held in Kumasi, focused largely on ongoing and planned education infrastructure projects designed to strengthen teaching and learning outcomes across Ejura Sekyeredumase.
Dr. Amoakohene described the engagement as productive, noting that it reflects the MP’s commitment to improving the welfare of his constituents through sustained investment in education.
As part of the development agenda, several critical projects are currently being delivered within the constituency.
At Ejuraman Anglican Senior High School, a modern dining hall, an assembly hall, and a three-storey, 18-unit classroom block are under construction to address congestion and enhance the learning environment.
Basic education is also receiving a major boost. Teacherkrom T.I. Ahmadiyya Primary School is benefiting from a new six-unit classroom block, while Kobiriti T.I. Ahmadiyya Junior High School is set to receive a three-unit classroom block. Additionally, Krampong M/A Primary School is being equipped with a three-unit classroom block to improve access and quality at the foundational level.
According to Dr. Amoakohene, these interventions will significantly ease pressure on existing facilities, expand access to quality education, and provide a more conducive atmosphere for both students and teachers.
He commended Hon. Braimah for his dedication, hard work, and consistent advocacy for development in Ejura Sekyeredumase.
The Ashanti Regional Minister reaffirmed his commitment to supporting all initiatives that advance development across the region, stressing that education remains a key pillar in the government’s broader development strategy.
Dr. Amoakohene also expressed appreciation to President H.E. John Dramani Mahama for his leadership, emphasizing that collaborative efforts between national and regional actors are essential to delivering tangible results for communities.
“Together, we will keep delivering results,” he said, underscoring the shared resolve to promote inclusive development throughout the Ashanti Region.
