The Fatimatu Bint Rasool Foundation (FBR), a Kumasi-based non-governmental organization (NGO), has continued its mission to support impoverished Muslim communities by distributing essential food items and garments before and after Eid fitr celebrations. Established to provide training in personal and communal development, the foundation has made a significant impact through its initiatives.

Second Street Donation Initiative
In its second street donation drive, the foundation brought joy and relief to disadvantaged individuals in four key areas: Aboabo Number Two, Sabon Zongo, Accra Nima, and Kumasi Nima. Volunteers distributed food, beverages, water, live poultry, and pre-owned clothing to those in need, showcasing the foundation’s commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of the destitute.

A Remarkable Response
The donation campaign received an overwhelming response, with volunteers interacting with street residents, children, and struggling families. The foundation provided essential items and offered compassion and motivation, instilling hope in the beneficiaries amidst their daily challenges, particularly during Ramadan and Eid festivities.

Hajia Fatima Jibrila Zibo Badju, the founder of the Fatimatu Bint Rasool Foundation, emphasized the organization’s unwavering commitment to uplifting communities through acts of benevolence. She urged others to join their mission of spreading happiness and effecting change in people’s lives.

Empowering Women and Providing Access to Potable Water.

The foundation aims to promote gender equality by enhancing women’s income and influence, with a specific focus on empowering women. Additionally, the foundation is seeking funding to provide access to potable water in select urban and rural communities through the installation of boreholes. Hajia Fatima appealed to corporate entities to support the foundation in achieving its objectives through charitable contributions.
