GNPC CEO, Board Chairman pay courtesy call on Asantehene

Mr Joseph Dadzie, and Mr Freddy Blay, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Board Chairman respectively for Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) have paid a courtesy call on Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene at the Manhyia Palace today.

The gesture , according to Mr Dadzi is to congratulate him on his 25 years anniversary since he ascended on the throne of the Golden Stool.

According to him, on behalf of the corporation,they wished him the best of luck one would wish for a beloved one on his birthday,and assured him that, GNPC is having a foundation which undertakes numerous projects in the Ashanti.

He said ,the foundation would continue with the project it has started and make sure that it is completed ,this he believes will help improve the lives of the people in the region under his tenure as the Chief Executive Officer.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene for his part lauded the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Board , Management and staff of the corporation for the visitation and the good work they are doing to improve the socioeconomic development of the country.

He reminded Mr Dadzie that, he is not a new person when it comes to management, and for that matter,he needs no introduction.

He then urged him to ensure that, the corporation remains more viable and vibrant to the benefit of Ghanaians.

He commended him for the support in his 25th Anniversary celebration, and appealed to God to grant him wisdom wisdom and strength for the benefit of the nation.

Otumfuo also reminded him to take notice that as a human when things are not going as expected and he is being criticized he must be humble enough to admit to enable him succeed in working efficiently and effectively.
