Good Women’s Ministry (GWM) of the Christ Apostolic Church International (CACI), Nkawie Central in the Ashanti Region, has gifted 13 women on Sunday, 10 May 2026, as part of the celebration of Mother’s Day.
The local church leadership deemed it fit to celebrate the women for their exemplary motherhood, leadership, and contribution to the growth of the church and society.
Prior to the presentation of the gifts, the women took to the dance floor to the song “Sweet Mother,” happily thanking God for their lives and for the opportunity to be counted among mothers across the globe.
Before the gifts were presented to 13 outstanding women, Circuit Pastor of the Church, Reverend Humphrey Assafuah, acknowledged their role in shaping their families, the church, and society, and encouraged younger women to emulate their example.
“These women have remained committed to their families and to God. They have upheld the tenets of good motherhood, therefore its good that we celebrate them” he added.
Deaconess Akosua Animah, Local Leader of GWM, presented the items to the beneficiaries on behalf of the church.
The beneficiaries thanked the local leadership of GWM and the church for the honour and the gifts, and prayed for God’s blessings upon the church and its leaders.
