Nana Agyenim Boateng (Gyataba), founder and leader of the United Front Party, has launched a scathing attack on Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyabeng, labeling him a hypocrite.

This harsh criticism comes after Kissi Agyabeng declared Ken Ofori-Atta, Ghana’s former finance minister, wanted for failing to appear for interrogation in corruption-related investigations .

According to reports, Ken Ofori-Atta is accused of causing financial loss to the state in several dealings, including the construction of the National Cathedral and Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) projects .

However, Nana Agyenim Boateng’s statement on Oyerepa tv this morning suggests that he believes Kissi Agyabeng’s actions are motivated by ulterior motives rather than a genuine pursuit of justice.

It’s worth noting that Ken Ofori-Atta was spotted at the JFK International Airport, despite being declared a fugitive by the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) .

The OSP had communicated with Ofori-Atta, informing him that he was a suspect in several investigations, but he failed to respond .

The development has sparked a heated debate, with some Ghanaians expressing support for Kissi Agyabeng’s actions, while others, like Nana Agyenim Boateng, have questioned his motives. As the situation unfolds, it remains to be seen how the matter will be resolved.
