Hon Joana Gyan Cudjoe, Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central Constituency in the Western Region , has called on residents, particularly the youth, to take advantage of job and skills-training opportunities created by ongoing and upcoming road construction projects in the constituency.
Speaking on Lord FM’s Morning Show,Hon Joana Gyan Cudjoe encouraged residents to enroll in contractor-led training programs focused on practical construction skills such as block molding and other road-related activities.
This initiative aims to prepare residents for direct employment on major infrastructure projects, ensuring local communities benefit meaningfully from development efforts.
Hon Joana Gyan Cudjoe emphasized that empowering the youth with hands-on skills will reduce unemployment, improve livelihoods, and enhance local participation in national development. She has already taken steps to support education and youth employment in Amenfi Central, employing 35 community teachers to support 28 basic schools and creating jobs at her block factory .
The MP also expressed her commitment to celebrating Christmas with NDC Constituency executives, coordinators, and branch executives, highlighting her dedication to strengthening the party in Amenfi Central. She thanked NDC General Secretary Mr. Fiifi Fiavi Kwetey for recognizing her potential and motivating her to contest and lead in Amenfi Central Constituency.
