Hon. Mary Tagba Calls for Unity, Peace, and Development in Eid Message to Tatale-Sanguli Residents

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Tatale-Sanguli in the Northern Region , Hon. Mary Tagba, has delivered a heartfelt and inspiring message to Muslims and residents across the district in celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr, emphasizing the values of unity, respect, tolerance, and teamwork as essential pillars for community and national development.


In her Eid message, Hon. Tagba expressed profound gratitude to Allah for granting Muslims the strength, discipline, and guidance to successfully complete the 30-day fasting period of Ramadan. She acknowledged the spiritual significance of the holy month, noting that it serves as a time for reflection, sacrifice, compassion, and renewed commitment to righteous living.

“Ramadan has been a sacred journey of faith and devotion. We are grateful to Allah for seeing us through this period of fasting, prayer, and self-discipline,” she stated. “It is my earnest prayer that Allah accepts all our supplications, sacrifices, and good deeds offered during this holy month.”

The DCE used the occasion to call on residents of the Tatale-Sanguli District to embrace the spirit of Eid by fostering unity among themselves regardless of religious, ethnic, or political differences. She stressed that mutual respect, tolerance, and a strong sense of teamwork are crucial in building a peaceful and progressive society.

Hon. Tagba further urged the Muslim community and the general public to continue to uphold the virtues learned during Ramadan in their daily lives, adding that the true essence of the fasting period lies in the positive transformation it brings to individuals and communities.

As part of her message, she made a passionate appeal for prayers for the leadership of the country. She called on citizens to remember the President, Vice President, Members of Parliament, Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives, and all government officials in their prayers, asking for divine wisdom, strength, and guidance in the discharge of their duties.

She also specifically appealed for prayers for the continued peace and development of the Tatale-Sanguli District, expressing optimism that with unity and collective effort, the district can achieve greater progress and improved living conditions for its people.

“Let us continue to pray for our district—for peace, growth, and sustainable development. Together, with unity and a shared vision, we can build a stronger and more prosperous Tatale-Sanguli,” she emphasized.

Hon. Mary Tagba concluded her message by wishing all Muslims a joyful and peaceful Eid celebration, encouraging them to celebrate responsibly and in harmony with one another.
