Evangelist Akwasi Awuah is one of the great men of God in Ghana. He is the founder and leader of Pillar of Zion Church international. Currently, many people are complaining about a particular message from Evangelist Akwasi Awuah that, the Church does not use it’s resources to cater for the Church members. Reacting to the concerns from Ghanaians on 14th April 2022 at Kumasi Easter Convention, Evangelist Akwasi stated clearly that, nothing came move him from speaking the truth and Ghanaians should understand that, he is here to save souls for christ but not to give money and properties to church members.
Speaking to his Congregation in Kumasi Last night, Evangelist Akwasi Awuah added that the main motive of the church is to bring lost souls to the kingdom of God. But the attitude of providing money and other items is just a help. Giving some scriptures such as John 21:15 to 20, Evangelist Akwasu Awuah explained that, the main assignment on earth is to take care and nurture souls so that God will be happy.
“I I raise my hand to say that, God did not call me to give money and properties. But to save lost souls. You can have the money and when you die without everlasting life or salvation, your mission on earth is useless. Radio stations will not play my messages for people to repent, but they are ready to discuss what I said. During the time of Covid, I distributed a lot of food items to Ghanaians. That is just a help. But the main assignment is to preach the pure word of God and not to give money to church members”. – Evangeslist Akwasi Awuah Stated.
