I’m touched by your explanation to the 24hr economy policy- Kaase Gyaasehene Lauds Chairman Nana Akwasi

Nana Kofi Yeboah, Kaase Gyasehene has placed on record that, the 24hr economy policy has now been understood better after listening to a statement by the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NDC, Chairman Nana Akwasi.

According to him, he was a bit confused about the policy initially but the Ashanti regional Chairman has made the understanding of the policy easier for him.

Nana Kofi Yeboah made the statement when the Ashanti regional chairman of the NDC together with his campaign team paid a courtesy call to Kaase palace this afternoon.

Addressing traditional leaders at the palace after a spectacular introduction by Mr Akwasi Ofori Agyemang Boadi(King Zuba), official spokesperson for the Ashantk Regional chairman’s campaign team, Augustus Andrews Nana Akwasi , explained that,
the objective behind the proposed 24-hour economy initiative is to enable businesses to operate three shifts per day.

To achieve this goal, he says the government and private sector will collaborate.

“The 24-hour economy is designed to create new employment opportunities, particularly for young people, address unemployment, and enhance living standards in Ghana.”

Nana Akwasi further indicated ,John Dramani Mahama’s government will enact new laws to support businesses operating a 24 hour system in seven days (24/7), including labour laws and tax incentives.

“To assist companies, there will be favourable tax policies, stimulus packages and financial assistance available for specific industries including agro-processing and manufacturing,” Mr Mahama posted.

Nana Akwasi also said, “Buying local products and services will be government’s top priority, and measures will be implemented to ensure the smooth operation of the 24-hour economy.”

He assured that,security, sanitation, cleaning, and environmental protection will be critical components of the 24-hour economy.

Financial services at the ports will be operational 24/7, reducing delays and congestion.

The initiative aims to benefit various sectors, create jobs, improve living standards, increase productivity, and provide convenience for citizens.

The Gyasihene was touched by the explanation of the Ashanti regional chairman on the policy, charging him to always do same wherever he goes, this he said will win more votes for the NDC in election 2024.
