The Western Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, Nana Kojo Toku, has indicated that Madam Joana Gyan Cudjoe, the NDC parliamentary candidate for Amanfi Central is the ‘Yaa Asantewaa’ of Wassaman.
According to him, Joana Gyan Cudjoe is very brave, fearless and has the can do spirit.
Nana Toku made the pronouncement at Kyeikrom when addressing party faithfuls on last Friday as part of the National Chairman’s (Johnson Asiedu Nketia) campaign tour of the Western Region
Nana Kojo Toku however showed his appreciation to the NDC leadership, the Chiefs and the people of Western Region for their massive support and the encouragement they had for Joana Gyan Cudjoe.
He urged the people to go out there in their numbers to vote the NDC into power come December 7.
“When it’s time for the election there shouldn’t be any rush, you should look out for the “umbrella” beside Joana Gyan Cudjoe and President John Dramani Mahama and vote right behind the umbrella to secure victory for both candidates.” He educated.
“Sometimes there’re many mistakes you do on the ballot paper, because some of you sometimes rush to see the candidate first before voting and that will take a lot of time and pressure, it can then lead to spoiled ballot, so take your time on the election day, make sure your ballot paper is stamped and then vote. He further indicated.
He continued, saying “after voting, there is no need to rush to your various houses but to stay till the end of voting. There can be some false or some negativities in calculating the results so it’s best we all stay to witness till the declaration of the votes before we go back to our houses, he advised.
