The NDC’s parliamentary candidate for Amenfi Central, Mrs. Joana Gyan Cudjoe has already proven her deep commitment to the development and well-being of her constituents.

Despite not yet holding the official title of Member of Parliament, her contributions across various sectors demonstrate her dedication to uplifting the community. From energy to water and sanitation, her philanthropic efforts have left a lasting in the constituency touching all the relevant sectors.

In the energy sector, Mrs. Joana Gyan has been instrumental in ensuring reliable power supply in key areas of the district. She facilitated and personally funded the replacement of power transformers in communities such as Kyeikrom and Wuratrem Domeabra. In addition, she has generously donated street bulbs to the Kwamang Electoral Area and other parts of the Kwamang community, improving safety and visibility in these areas. Her dedication to supporting diverse groups also extends to religious institutions, where she sponsored the acquisition of an electricity meter for an Islamic group in Bantoma to support their religious activities. Hon. Joana’s contributions also include replacing street bulbs in Beposo and overseeing the replacement and fixing of an electric pole in Tuntum, further enhancing the reliability of electricity in these communities.

Her passion for ensuring access to clean water and improved sanitation is equally evident. She has funded the drilling of five mechanized boreholes across Agona Amenfi, Jeduakese, and Agona Nyamebekyere, providing clean drinking water to residents. In Ohenekrom, Hon. Joana supported the mechanization of an existing borehole, while in Ankamateng, she donated a 5,000-litre poly tank to assist with water storage. Her attention to the maintenance of critical water systems is commendable, as she funded the repair and upkeep of mechanized boreholes in Sraha-Yiem and Manhyia-Wuratrem, ensuring consistent access to potable water. Furthermore, her sponsorship of a borehole completion in Kyeikrom stands as yet another testament to her relentless commitment to the well-being of her constituents.

Even before officially taking on the role of Member of Parliament, Mrs. Joana Gyan Cudjoe has already left a lasting mark on Amenfi Central. Her unwavering dedication to development, her willingness to personally invest in the improvement of the community, and her far-reaching contributions in both energy and water sectors have earned her widespread admiration and support.
