A prophetic declaration predicting victory for Hon Ken Agyapong in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primaries took centre stage at Ken’s National Praise 2026, held at the First Love Church, UPSA-Accra.
The declaration was made by Prophet Bernard El Bernard, who told the congregation that he had received divine insight indicating that Mr. Agyapong would emerge victorious in the NPP primaries. The statement was delivered during a moment of prayer and prophetic exhortation at the worship event, themed “United in Praise” (Psalm 150:6).
According to the cleric, the message was revealed to him during prayer and was shared publicly as part of what he described as a divine instruction. His declaration drew strong reactions from worshippers, many of whom responded with applause and prayers.
Ken’s National Praise 2026 brought together clergy, gospel ministers, political leaders, and members of the public for an evening dedicated to thanksgiving, worship, and intercession for Ghana. Speakers repeatedly emphasised that the programme was not a political rally but a spiritual gathering to thank God for life and to pray for peace and unity as the country approaches an election season.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Agyapong reaffirmed that the purpose of the event was to give thanks to God after a challenging year and to seek divine guidance for the nation. He called for peace before, during, and after elections, stressing that violence and division have no place in Ghana’s democratic process.
The event featured ministrations from leading gospel artistes and extended prayers for national stability, unity, and good leadership. While Prophet Bernard El Bernard’s declaration has since sparked public discussion, organisers and participants maintained that the central focus of the programme remained worship, gratitude, and national cohesion.
Observers described the event as a significant spiritual moment, blending faith and national reflection at a time when political activities are gradually intensifying.
